The modules are intended to be alert at all times. They protect the infrastructure while still remaining transparent to data flow. This allows them to function at their maximum speed and bandwidth without signal degradation.

The series is intended to interface with standard Krone LSA Plus* disconnect blocks and are used to protect applications at central offices, telephone exchanges, remote locations, building entrance terminations and customer premises installations.

Features:

The KP10 Hybrid uses new hybrid technology that implements the coarse and fine protection stages onto a single device resulting in faster response times and lower residual voltages than the traditional two stage method. This product is designed for LSA Plus termination blocks.

The Clearline KP2HS series 10-way line protector uses state of the art semiconductor technology to protect telecom systems and networks from the damaging effects of induced lighting, AC induction and electrostatic discharges. In the normal mode of operation, the protection module is transparent to the functioning of the telecommunication system, but when the voltages exceed the breakdown voltages, the semiconductor activates and diverts the harmful energy away from the equipment being protected.
